2027 Santos GLNG Mayor’s Charity Ball

About This Event

The ninth biennial Santos GLNG Mayor’s Charity Ball will be held at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre from 6pm on Saturday 22 May 2027. This gala event raises funds for local community beneficiaries. The event brings the community together for an evening of food, wine, music, and dancing, all while raising funds for local charities. The Santos GLNG Mayor’s Charity Ball will be another sell-out affair to remember. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment supported by local musicians. To date, the Mayor’s Charity Ball has collectively raised more than $763,000 for local charities. Be sure to save the date and fundraise in style! Through a competitive selection process, two organisations will be selected as the official Beneficiary Partners. Nominations for beneficiary partners have now closed. Working collaboratively with Gladstone Regional Council and Zonta, the successful organisations will play an active role in the planning, promotion, and fundraising for the event, helping deliver an unforgettable evening that inspires generosity and creates lasting community outcomes. More than a fundraising opportunity, this partnership provides invaluable support to help organisations expand their impact, increase community awareness, build meaningful relationships and showcase the important work they do across our Region The criteria are weighted as per below: Assessment Criteria - Weighting Community benefit and impact in the Gladstone Region - 30% Alignment with Council Strategic Goals - 20% Proposed use of funds and project outcomes - 20% Capacity to fulfil beneficiary partnership commitments - 20% Ability to promote the event and contribute to fundraising success - 10% Please note that an acquittal of the funding spend will be required for the 2027 Mayor’s Charity Ball. Proposed projects must be completed within 12 months from the 2027 Mayor’s Charity Ball date. The acquittal date is set for 22 May 2028.
