About This Event
StoryLab combines storytelling and science! StoryLab in September is all about our eyes! We’ll be celebrating the World Sight Day by exploring our eyes and illusions resource kit. Let’s learn about how our eyes work, the different pupil shapes animals have and experiment with optical illusions. This program is held on the fourth Saturday of the month, 10.30am to 11.30am, at Gladstone City Library and is aimed at children around 10 years and younger, but all ages are welcome to attend and enjoy the activities. https://www.gladstonelibraries.qld.gov.au/young-people/#1779412194772-871908bb-7db4 Each month has a different theme and includes stories, experiments, and craft. Children can participate in hands-on learning using a Spark! Discovery Kit, educational resources available for loan from our libraries. Ask library staff or check our Events Calendar for information about each month's theme. Bookings are not required.
