About This Event
StoryLab combines storytelling and science! StoryLab in November ROCKS! We’ll be celebrating the National Mining Day by exploring our geology resource kit. Let’s learn about the origins of gold, rock cycles, and how you can dig for your own rocks and gold! This program is held on the fourth Saturday of the month, 10.30am to 11.30am, at Gladstone City Library and is aimed at children around 10 years and younger, but all ages are welcome to attend and enjoy the activities. https://www.gladstonelibraries.qld.gov.au/young-people/#1779412194772-871908bb-7db4 Each month has a different theme and includes stories, experiments, and craft. Children can participate in hands-on learning using a Spark! Discovery Kit, educational resources available for loan from our libraries. Ask library staff or check our Events Calendar for information about each month's theme. Bookings are not required.
