Coexistence Queensland and Gladstone Regional Council are hosting the Queensland Community Energy Forum in Calliope. Community members, landholders and local businesses are invited to attend and learn more about energy and resources projects underway and proposed across the Gladstone Region. Hear from industry and government representatives, learn about upcoming developments and gain a better understanding of potential benefits and how project impacts will be managed. Event details: 9am–3pm, Wednesday 4 November 2026 Calliope Community Centre, 3 Don Cameron Drive, Calliope The forum will include presentations, panel discussions, industry exhibitors and opportunities to connect with project representatives. Attendees can also register their interest in a guided tour of the operational Aldoga Solar Farm, operated by ACCIONA Energía. Places are limited, with priority given to local community members and landholders. Registering interest does not guarantee a place, and all attendees must travel on the organised bus. Participants must wear a long-sleeved shirt, full-length pants and enclosed work boots. For further information, to register for the forum or to express your interest in the Aldoga Solar Farm site tour, visit the Queensland Community Energy Forum website .
