About This Event
Are you disaster ready? Show us how you’re preparing for the upcoming disaster season. Let’s show what resilience looks like in our region. Submit a photo that captures what disaster preparedness looks like to you under any of the following six categories: Ultimate household evacuation kit Funniest emergency kit essential Most creative household emergency plan Best value emergency kit Best emergency-ready pet outfit Best pet emergency kit. Prize bundles up for grabs! One bundle for the winner of each category. Prizes include: 1 x Torini SPGI-3300W Inverter Generator 1 x Wanderer Quad Fold Beach Cart 1 x Yeti Roadie 48 Wheeled Hard Cooler And more disaster resources! To enter, upload your photo and a short caption via Conversations . Entries open: Monday, 21 September 2026 Entries close: Wednesday, 21 October 2026 Voting closes: Friday, 23 October 2026. Gladstone Regional Council’s Councillors and Disaster Management team will decide the winners. Winners will be notified on Wednesday, 28 October, and must collect prizes by Wednesday, 4 November 2026. Winners will be announced on Council’s Facebook and Instagram profiles and on this page.
