David Raymond Author Talk

About This Event

David Raymond, author of the published true crime book Vader: A Police Dog Story. Published by Big Sky Publishing and distributed by Simon & Schuster. The book recounts David's 36-year career with the Queensland Police Service, including 26 years as a police dog handler, with a particular focus on Police Dog Vader. This 90-minute presentation combines storytelling with images and videos of police dogs, as well as locations connected to some of Australia’s most wanted people. Like the book, it shares stories of fear, courage, humour and resilience under extreme pressure, and is suitable for all ages. Refreshments available
